Staying free from infection for 22 years

I have not been ill for 22 years. I have not had a cough or cold or anything and want to share how.

When you first get attacked by pathogens (germs), it is always a local affair.  Colds start in the nose, coughs in the chest  and sickness and diarrhoea in the stomach.  The tissues being invaded are localised and it is only when pathogens invade your whole system that you start to feel really ill. (This is when the infection can be termed systemic.)   Our skin prevents the world of germs entering our system and it is the skin on the inside of your respiratory system that is breached, at that point, any other germs present also invade the tissues.

Pathogens replicate at a similar rate to the T-lymphocytes (which produce the antibodies which immobilise the pathogens they are specialised to deal with).  The problem is that the pathogens begin invading and replicating for some time before the immune system has a chance to mobilise its resources. The reason that it takes the immune system time to catch up is that, although the immune system starts fighting the infection immediately, the lymph nodes are the point at which the pathogen is recognised and it is there that the specialised cells are stimulated to begin producing anti-bodies

Essential oils are broad-spectrum antibiotic, anti-fungal and anti-viral (this means they stop them replicating) as well as bactericidal and fungicidal (viruses cannot be killed as they are not 'alive').  The essential oils produce the same effect as the immune system. They contain products that lock into the pathogens' structure to prevent replication (t-lymphocytes and antibodies) and products that actually kill bacteria and fungi (macrophages).

As soon as I get the symptoms of an invading 'germ', I use a combination of essential oils.  If it is an itchy nose, feels a bit sore or starts to produce more mucous, I do an inhalation, usually a combination of 2 drops tea tree, 2 drops eucalyptus and 2 drops cedarwood - these are all effective against bacteria, fungi and viruses and all inexpensive. For a chest infection I would add 2 drops of frankincense (but this is a little more expensive).

I use a small inhaler - very easy to find at Boots and other large chemists - and looks like this

Breathe Easy Inhaler

It is very easy for children to use.  After one inhalation, symptoms subside.  The germs still keep on fighting their way in so, as soon as symptoms start to re-occur, use the inhaler again.  Usually 3 times the first day is enough to completely banish whatever was trying to infect you.  The inhaler is to hold the infection at bay until the immune system has caught up, number wise, with the pathogens.

The inhaler should be used until symptoms cease to occur.  There is no great depletion of the body's systems this way and next day, no sense of having had any illness.

When an infection goes systemic, there is a much greater cost to the immune system (which is responsible for far more than just fighting infection) and  recovery  is felt for some time.  It is best to avoid this strain on the system, most especially for children whose immune systems are still learning and so they are more susceptible to more pathogens.  As we grow older we gain more and more immunities.

With regard to stomach conditions, this is only for symptoms that are not part of a long standing or chronic condition.

If you develop sickness and/or diarrhoea, drink two drops of  bergamot in a half glass of water.  Bergamot  is fantastic against gastro-intestinal pathogens and was added to tea in India (during the days of the Raj) to prevent 'delhi belly' and is marketed now commercially as Earl Grey.  Swallow it down quick to avoid the oil (which lays on top of the water) from staying in your mouth.

I have also used this method to drink unsafe water where bottled water was not available and have never suffered dysentery or the like. (First two glasses of water drunk  with 2  drops of bergamot in each.)

My proof of the above is being free from anything for over 22 years now.  I have introduced it to many others and they all use this very gentle method of staying well.

I have not used antibiotics for more than 24 years and would say for anyone that does (or has done), it is vital to repopulate the gut with the healthy bacteria which are wiped out by anti-biotics.  It is possible to buy the lacto-bacillus acidophilus in pill form at your local health store and these are the most effective way of repopulating the gut.

Imagine never being ill again.  This has been my experience, let it be yours.
